The countdown is on ……
As April arrives, the countdown to my trip to Imola in just over two weeks begins! Naturally, I’m most excited to see my favourite team race around their home circuit, but I must admit I’m equally thrilled to immerse myself in authentic Italian culture.
I spend most of my days discussing the Italian culture and to be completely honest, I haven’t experienced it firsthand! My dad has been a motorsport enthusiast long before I was born, and he eventually influenced me to get into the sport (working in F1 recruitment helps too, I suppose). Although my dad and I support different teams, I’m mostly loving the idea that I get to ‘drag’ my Porsche-loving dad around Ferrari’s stomping grounds.
This trip isn’t just about the race for me. I’m also looking forward to experiencing the rich Italian culture, especially the food and ensuring we make a ‘pit stop’ at the renowned ‘Ristorante Montana’. The thought of indulging in authentic Italian pasta and other culinary delights has my taste buds tingling with anticipation!
Sharing this adventure with my dad makes it even more special. He’s been a motorsport enthusiast for as long as I can remember, and his passion for the sport has rubbed off on me. Although we support different teams, the opportunity to explore museums together and immerse ourselves in the world of motorsport is something I cherish.
In short, this trip to Imola is a perfect blend of thrilling races, delicious food, and quality time with my dad. I can’t wait!

Visiting the Ferrari Museum was a dream come true, walking through the halls of motorsport history, surrounded by iconic cars that embodied the spirit of racing.
The highlight, of course, was witnessing Ferrari’s triumph on the track—seeing the red machines dominate and hearing the roar of victory was electrifying. The energy in the air was unmatched, and celebrating the win with fellow fans made the moment even more special. Imola delivered the perfect mix of passion, tradition, and adrenaline, making it a trip to remember.
