Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer – Greater London
GBP62,401 | 42 hours per week | 4 on / 4 off (Days & Nights)

We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-volume FMCG manufacturing operation where reliability, automation and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.

What you'll be doing
Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical and automation faults
Delivering planned and reactive maintenance to maximise equipment availability
Driving continuous improvement projects that improve reliability and efficiency
Supporting production through proactive problem-solving and root cause analysis
Working with site KPIs including OEE and downtime reduction
Maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and engineering excellence
Coaching operators and sharing technical knowledge across the team
What we're looking for
You'll be a time-served multi-skilled engineer or hold a recognised engineering qualification (such as C&G 2346-03, HNC or equivalent), with experience in a manufacturing environment.
You'll also bring:
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
Experience maintaining automated production equipment
A proactive approach to continuous improvement
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A positive attitude and the flexibility to work a rotating days and nights shift pattern
