Exciting new career opportunity with a prestigious high performance car maker to take ownership of the entire digital cockpit lifecycle-from initial requirements through to after-sales support. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep technical expertise and strong coordination skills to deliver cutting-edge infotainment solutions.

As the Digital Cockpit Leader your responsibilities will include:

Lead and manage supplier teams of Electronic System Architects (Systems, Hardware, and Software) to define, develop, and maintain system architecture for cockpit electronic modules

Evaluate system architecture concepts for accuracy and feasibility, including hardware/software function allocation

Drive interdisciplinary problem-solving to overcome technical and cross-functional challenges

Ensure compliance with design guidelines, processes, and quality standards

Oversee system partitioning, bandwidth calculations, memory maps, and data flows for overall system design

Implement continuous improvement initiatives for processes, tools, and execution

Own technical specifications for hardware and software components

What will make you successful:

Masters degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent

Solid experience in System Architecture roles within automotive infotainment programs

Strong knowledge of infotainment system requirements, features, KPIs, test environments, and full product development cycles

Ability to translate system requirements into hardware and software specifications

Expertise in embedded operating systems (Linux and/or Android)

Experience in multi-core software architecture design on ARM processors

Proficiency with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion)

Previous hands-on experience as an embedded automotive developer (kernel, middleware, application components)

Strong communication skills in Italian and English (mandatory)

Advantageous:

Familiarity with design patterns is a plus

Knowledge of ISO26262 and functional safety concepts is advantageous

Experience with hypervisor-based software architectures and Agile methodologies is a plus

Programming knowledge in C, C++, Java, or Python is desirable
