We are seeking an experienced Design Processes & Tools Manager to lead the CAD and design tool strategy for a world-class motorsport team. This is a pivotal role focused on optimizing design workflows, managing CAD methodologies and driving innovation in engineering tools and processes. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the design processes of a leading motorsport team, working at the cutting edge of engineering innovation.
Key Responsibilities include:
CAD Leadership: Act as CAD Manager for the Chassis Design Office, owning CAD methodologies, configurations, user documentation, training, and support.
Tool Development & Integration: Manage CAD application development and technical requests to solution providers in collaboration with IT.
Requirements Gathering & System Improvement: Collect designer requirements to evolve PLM systems and improve software managing chassis experiments.
What Were Looking For:
Strong background in CAD management and design process optimization within a high-performance engineering environment.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing technical teams
Expertise in PLM systems and CAD PLM integration
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Motorsport experience is highly desirable
