Tiro is working with a global leading AA* BRC FMCG manufacturing company based in West Manchester with easy access via M61, M66, M52 and M60 west. They have cornered the market in their unique dry foods product area and produce 80% of all commercial consumed product here in the UK.
Having recently secured the New Engineering Manager for the company, we are supporting the phase 2 of development, restructuring maintenance team leader and engineering maintenance structure in the business.
This is a unique opportunity to play a significant part in the future development of engineering, process improvement and extensive growth within the business.
The company are looking for best in industry engineers who are seeking a long term career, with a focus on succession planning, skills, education development and potential for real personal growth.
The Challenge
Building teams is always a challenge, but you will be part of that decision making, from team recruitment to driving a high level reliability and process improvement to deliver real process improvement from the floor up as a team.

Your engineering background
Electrical and Maintenance skills
Experience leading a small team/shift leading/ready for a step up but lack of opportunity.

Commitment to mentoring and upskilling of the shift team.
Engineering qualification (e.g. electrical/muti-skilled engineering apprenticeship, NVQ/C&G/ONC/HNC/BTEC)
