About the Role: As the Energy Process Engineer with this global business, you will participate in an ongoing process improvement plan on site, specifically in the CHP (Combined, Heat & Power), comprising of the monitoring and maintenance of the gas turbines, boilers and WTP (Water Treatment Plant) testing area.
About the Company: Our client is an established, growing global multibillion GBP t/o business. The Kent site has a planned GBP10million CAPEX spend in the next 18 months, with further investment planned.
Your responsibilities as the Energy Process Engineer will include:
Actively seek ways to prioritise process efficiency, particularly boiler water chemistry
Assist the Utilities Manager in any reasonable tasks necessary to achieve Safety, Environmental, Compliance and Operational targets.
Ensure relevant training and development programmes are established for the success of implementation of LEAN tools
What you will bring:
Degree in Engineering or Applied Chemistry (or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with relevant role and industry experience)
Working knowledge of Gas Turbines, Chemical Water Testing and Boiler operation & maintenance
