We are looking for highly motivated software engineers who are interested in developing an understanding of motorsport. You will be part of a group responsible for designing, building and operating systems characterised by high reliability, robustness and performance. These systems provide a competitive advantage by enabling knowledge extraction from multiple data sources and supporting fast, effective decision-making.
Successful candidates will be joining a team of full-stack software engineers, modernising existing solutions using the latest technologies. Candidates will also have the opportunity to support the operational side of the team during race events.
What will make you successful:
Master's degree in computer science or a related technical field with post graduate industry experience building mission critical distributed systems, in a challenging environment (such as bankling, finance or big-tech
Experience with a high level language (knowledge of the .NET ecosystem is beneficial but not essential)
Experience with CI/CD
Knowledge of TDD
Experience of full stack development (services, infrastructure, desktop or web UI, databases, messaging systems, cloud, etc.)
Comfortable working with various technologies, varying from developing rich UIs to distributed systems
Previous experience with building mission critical distributed systems, in a challenging environment (e.g. finance or big-tech)
You must have experience of designing software features and driving them to completion, ensuring they are delivered in a timely manner without compromising on quality. You will be expected to be responsible for projects all the way from requirements gathering to testing and deployment. A strong customer focus and willingness to proactively support end users is equally important, as well as a drive to ensure we are using the best tools available to maximize the teams productivity.
In line with other roles within the team, our client expect excellent analytical and problem solving skills and a high level of self-motivation. Fluency in English is a must-have and a good level of Italian is an advantage for full integration.
