Role: Senior Project Manager (Mandarin and English speaker)

As the Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for leading the team to develop new project on the customer’s requirements in automotive products research and development. This role will support all phases of new product development, from concept to mark launch and be accountable for achieving strategic objectives. The role of Senior Project Manager requires strong technical experience in motor / power electronics gained within the automotive industry and the ability to speak Mandarin.

Responsibilities:
* Providing senior level leadership to create the structure and practice to govern product development and achieve strategic business objectives
* Aligning overall program strategy and execution
* Managing cross-project and cross-organizational complexities
* Being responsible for capital planning and cost management
* Subjecting matter expert in scope definition, change control and risk management
* Being accountable for program resource planning and allocation
* Creating effective communication plan across all levels of the company business units
* Daily update and maintain all project related control
* Weekly meeting with design team to follow up project progress and executive level presentation to engineering head routinely

Knowledge and skills required:
* Master degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering
* Strong technical experience in motor / power electronics gained within the automotive industry
* Team building skills regarding clear definition of project objectives, open communication and dialog among team members and support organisations
* Leadership including providing clear project direction, assisting team in problem solving, facilitating group decision making, handling any interpersonal conflict within the team, communication clearly to both internal team and client, reviewing all contract documentation etc.
* Planning to create project controls, validation steps in project schedule to ensure quality assurance
* Familiarity with automotive industry or motor production and application
* High proficiency in English and Mandarin
