A world renowned Aerospace industry specialist in Bedfordshire is looking to recruit a Programme Scheduler The successful Programme Scheduler will be working for a company that specializes in the manufacturer of aircraft/aerospace passenger cabin interior products for the commercial and business jet aircraft markets. This company has leading worldwide market shares in all of their major product lines and serve virtually all of the world’s airlines & aircraft manufacturers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Programme Scheduler to join a stable, fast-growing company that encourages professional advancement, fosters teamwork and rewards ingenuity. Our client is looking for a candidate capable of developing into a Project Manager.
As the Programme Scheduler you will perform a key role in a large programme which involves new product introduction and the setting up of a new facility in the low cost environment. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and updating all the different project plans in Primavera. Earned value reporting is key to ensure that everybody is on track and within budget.
Responsibilities of a Programme Scheduler / Planner include:
*Develop and maintain all project plans in Primavera
*Send out specific weekly task sheets to the team to ensure everybody is aware of their tasks
*Ensure all interdependencies are included in the plans
*Monthly reporting of Earned Value
*Maintain the Primavera system in line with the Corporate Standards
*Develop the Primavera functionality to support Programme Processes
*Put resource budgets against all activities
*Plan all test facility capacity in Primavera
*Take TeamCenter data (hours and % completion data) and manually input into Primavera
*Set up all reporting templates
*Train all users for data input and report generation
*Write a user manual for A350XWB Primavera activities
The ideal candidate:
*Proven experience of working in a programme-based environment, working with Primavera (Expertise with Primavera P6)
*Proven experience of working with different functions to produce interlinked plans
*Proven experience of producing progress reporting
*Ability to work with different types of people & functions to achieve the goal
*Self-motivated and high initiative
*Thorough, methodical & attention to detail
