The Role:

As the Engineering Team Leader you will be responsible for product development, from concept through to launch, of modules for global OEMs. In this role you will lead a multinational team of design and development engineers specialist steering products.

Responsibilities include:

Requirements Capturing: Working with customer teams to capture and flow-down vehicle manufacturer specifications to component level

Product Design and Development: Leading a team of qualified engineers to generate market-leading innovative solutions

Design Validation and Release: Compile comprehensive validation plans for design release into customer application programmes

Project Management: Develop robust designs to provide minimum re-engineering for future applications

Innovation: Identify future trends and technologies to maintain market competitiveness

The ideal candidate:

Educated to degree level or equivalent

Experience in leading a product development team in automotive industry

Self motivated and able to work without direct supervision

Willing to travel globally

Strong customer and supplier facing skills
