Requirements
Due to an increase of business my powertrain client requires a number of permanent Engineers to work within their automotive Electricals and Controls department.

The Company:
An automotive consulting business as well as an independent research institute. It is the largest privately owned company for the development of powertrain systems with internal combustion engines as well as instrumentation and test systems and also produces electric powertrains.

Interview process:
The department Team Leader will conduct a 30 minute telephone conversation to discuss suitable skills, if successful you will be requested for a face to face interview.
The department requires Graduate Engineers as well as experienced and senior engineers with the following skills…………

“ You will be educated to degree level min 2:1 within Mechanical /Electrical engineering with an emphasis on controls
“ Knowledge of control theory and their typical applications in the automotive industry
“ Hybrid powertrain development experience
“ Possess a background in the Automotive industry, especially hybrid powertrain development
“ Familiar with hardware-in-the-loop, e.g.  dSPACE or ETAS tools
“ Matlab/Simulink skills are essential;
“ Software development experience, familiar with software testing, debugging and version control;
“ Basic CAN/LIN knowledge and VECTOR tools experience is required
“ Strong customer focused skills and the ability to problem solve.
“ Flexible to travel – possible international
“ Hold a valid UK driving license
“ Available to work in the UK unrestricted as sponsorship will NOT be provided.
