As Controls Software Engineer with a leading power train business you will develop company software using Matlab & Simulink.  The successful Controls Software Engineer must have a Msc degree and knowledge of Matlanb / Simulink or C-coding.

As the Controls Software Engineer your responsibilities include:
Develop software with Matlab/Simulink having a sound understanding of the hardware.
Display clear understanding of CAN and calibration tools such as CANalyzer, CANape or INCA, as well as DSpace or StateFlow.
Ideally you will have a background in safety related software / system development, FMEA or fault trees and who are willing to migrate into controls development.
 
The ideal Controls Software Engineer :
Must have a MSc or PhD (preferred) in Automotive / engineering subject with substantial working experience.
Applicants should have a proactive approach and drive to meet targets.
Controls Software Development.
Transmission Control.
Matlab/Simulink or C-Coding.
dSpace Tools.
Software Development Tools.
