As a Graduate Engineer with a leading global aerospace company your role will be to perform various calculations on designs to ensure they meet regulatory requirements. Candidates will be educated to degree level in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, excellent report writing skills, an analytical mind and a passion for the aerospace industry.

As the Certification Engineer – graduate your responsibilities will include:
“ Ensure that company design is certified to EASA or FAA regulations and satisfies the contract specification.
“ Produce the necessary reports to demonstrate that the design satisfies all relevant EASA or FAA regulations
“ Undertake the checking and releasing of detail, sub-assembly, general assembly and installation drawings.
“ Prepare of schemes and provision of technical support for test programmes. To analyse test results and report findings.
“ Provide ‘support to production’ services including investigation to queries raised through Design Query Notes and Non-Conformity Reports, production permits and concessions and any other matter where production time scales are potentially adversely affected.
The ideal candidate for the role of Certification Engineer – Graduate:
Essential:
“ Educated to degree level in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
“ Excellent report writing skills
“ Analytical mind, great attention to detail
“ Ability to assess information and challenge where appropriate
“ Effective oral and written communication skills
“ Good team working skills & work ethic
“ Effective use of Microsoft Word and Excel
“ Awareness of the certification framework within which the work is undertaken
Desired:
“ Previous experience in design organisation involved in aerospace design.
“ Familiar with current EASA and FAA regulations in particular CS-25 (25.561, 25.562, 25.783, 25.785, 25.787, 25.789, 25.791, 25.853, 25.855 and 25.869).
“ Excellent reporting and communication skills
“ Familiarity with MSC Visual Nastran for Windows FE desirable
“ Awareness of the certification framework within which the work is undertaken
