As CAE Analyst with a Leading Automotive Technology Business you will be required to support CAE activities relating to the Automotive engineering consultancy. Candidates require knowledge of key vehicle technologies and systems, particularly in relation to mechanical systems.
 
Job purpose:
” Produce meshed models
” Apply appropriate boundary conditions
” Perform linear FE analysis and interpret results
” Report out on component stress, stiffness & modal performance
” Use where appropriate hand calculations and knowledge of static structures
” Must be flexible and willing to support other engineering disciplines as and when required
 
Key responsibilities:
“         To conduct CAE analysis under the guidance of senior engineers
“         Produce technical reports
“         Provide advice and guidance to designers
“         Must have a good understanding of road vehicle engineering
“         Be able to use a first principals approach to understand and solve engineering problems
“         Work as a part of team supporting design and validation engineers across a range of projects
“         To be able to work both as a part of a team or as part of a client’s team as required
“         Be methodical and rigorous in analysis approach and record keeping
