You must be able to read and understand manufacturing data sheets and schematics.</p>

<p>The ideal candidate for the role of Test Diagnostic Engineer:</p>
<p>Degree qualified (Min HND) in electronics with practical experience working on similar complex products, e.g.</p>
<p>·        32/64 bit microprocessors, preferably Intel 80&#215;86 architecture</p>
<p>·        High performance communications peripheral devices, e.g. Gigabit Ethernet</p>
<p>·        Complex programmable logic devices</p>
<p>·        High performance bus architectures e.g. PCI-Express, RapidIO, CompactPCI or VME</p>
<p>·        High speed digital logic (400MHz and faster)</p>
<p>·        Advanced memory technologies, e.g. DDR or DDR III SDRAM</p>

<p>As a Senior Mechanical engineer you will provide a significant contribution to major fast track New Product Development projects from our centralised technical division.  The position will require you to apply your mechanical engineering abilities to the development of world-leading products. <p>As a Senior Engineer in the technical division, you will be involved with hands-on product development and design of complex mechanical or electro-mechanical systems. Key skills &amp; experience required include:</p>
<p>&#8220; Knowledge of manufacture and assembly processes from one off designs to high volume manufacture is required, with experience in plastic injection moulding being particularly desirable<br />
&#8220; Significant experience in 3D CAD, preferably Pro Engineer and Solid Works is also required.<br />

Key to vehicle safety these products must meet stringent legislative requirements while also satisfying increasing demands from end-users, resulting in a highly technical product that requires high calibre engineers.</p>
<p>This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to perform the role of Mechanical Development Engineer for the Column Drive team for all customer projects. You will work with suppliers, SDE, Quality, Production and project teams to deliver components to meet customer requirements. You will hold responsibility for the technical content of the project, including design input, specification and adherence to timing to achieve performance criteria. The role is ideally suited to an engineer with previous experience of product design, development and if possible have previous steering system knowledge.</p>

The role will focus on demand creation through development of existing and new OEM accounts in the UK for the company&#8217;s range of connectors. Key markets for the company include industrial printing, utilities, packaging, traffic management, lighting, heating and refrigeration. Reporting to the EMEA Components Sales Manager, there will be regular contact from shop floor to MD level inside the business with continual customer contact at all levels.  As the OEM Sales Manager you will also be responsible for a Sales Manager selling another of the company&#8217;s brands into the UK market.</p>
<p>UK OEM Sales Manager (connectors) Essential Functions:<br />
* In conjunction with management, develop a sales strategy for the assigned region that secures significant and profitable business growth<br />
* Maintain and develop business at existing accounts and develop new OEM accounts in the UK, with focus on high value accounts.<br />
* Feedback market information, relating to new potential sectors for company products in the UK<br />
* Ensure that the sales and margin targets are met<br />
* Promote new products, and identify new product opportunities through customer interaction<br />
* Provide regular reports detailing opportunities identified in the UK<br />
* Provide Monthly Sales and Booking forecast for the UK<br />
* Provide written call reports on activities within customer base as required<br />
* Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and its execution for the region<br />
* Liaise with Customer Services on customer issues<br />
* Collate information and occasional specific reports for senior management</p>
