Degree qualified (Min HND) in electronics with practical experience working on similar complex products, e.g.

As a Senior Engineer in the technical division, you will be involved with hands-on product development and design of complex mechanical or electro-mechanical systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to perform the role of Mechanical Development Engineer for the Column Drive team for all customer projects. The position of UK OEM Sales Manager (connectors) is pivotal to the success of the company’s Divisional EMEA sales strategy. The role will focus on demand creation through development of existing and new OEM accounts in the UK for the company’s range of connectors. Key markets for the company include industrial printing, utilities, packaging, traffic management, lighting, heating and refrigeration. Reporting to the EMEA Components Sales Manager, there will be regular contact from shop floor to MD level inside the business with continual customer contact at all levels.  As the OEM Sales Manager you will also be responsible for a Sales Manager selling another of the company’s brands into the UK market.

UK OEM Sales Manager (connectors) Essential Functions:
* In conjunction with management, develop a sales strategy for the assigned region that secures significant and profitable business growth
* Maintain and develop business at existing accounts and develop new OEM accounts in the UK, with focus on high value accounts.
* Feedback market information, relating to new potential sectors for company products in the UK
* Ensure that the sales and margin targets are met
